Wizard of All

Sandy is our longest-tenured team member….she’s been with us since 1997! Boasting 35 years of experience in orthodontics, Sandy has literally mastered each role in the orthodontic practice from chairside assisting to office management with a stop along the way as a lab and records tech.

She completed the prestigious Roth-Williams Course exclusively for orthodontists and has served as our integration specialist for the “Roth-Williams philosophy.”

She’s also our expert on integrating Invisalign and SureSmile into the orthodontic practice. She is an avid Chicago sports fan and never passes up a chance to watch a good hockey game; she is also Mom to SIX animals!

Gena

Director of Finance

Organizing, creating systems, and balancing numbers are what make Gena really SMILE! She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, and as our Director of Finance, she is responsible for all of Peniche & Associate’s client accounts and financial records.

With her never-ending desire for professional growth and knowledge, Gena finds enjoyment in helping everyone become more organized. She assists in implementing organizational tools and completing tasks on time with her thoughtful suggestions for improved systems. Dedicated, reliable, and with an always-happy-to-help attitude, Gena takes pride in providing accurate service with a genuine service heart!

Tomalyn

Tomalyn’s 20 years in orthodontic practice management, treatment coordinating, financial management, schedule design, and marketing make her an invaluable asset to your practice.

Driven by her passion to help clients be their best, Tomalyn will go the extra mile for teams, practices, and patients, by providing exceptional customer service and training in all Peniche systems.

To say that Emily thrives in the face of financial chaos would be an understatement. With 16 years of experience in the dental industry, she has developed a passion for numbers and considers the task of reconciling outstanding payments to our providers to be an exciting challenge. Emily’s professional journey has taken her from chair assistant to Treatment Coordinator, culminating in her current role as Insurance/Financial/Dental Coordinator. Throughout her career, she has come to appreciate the importance of maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts.

My journey in the dental and orthodontic fields has been quite extensive over the past 25 years. Starting with my first experience as a dental assistant for a general dentist, I gained a foundational understanding of patient care and office operations. This eventually led me to a role as a business manager for a cosmetic dentist, where I honed my skills in the administrative and financial aspects of a dental practice. Ultimately, I found my niche in orthodontics, where I’ve had the opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities. From managing the appointment schedule and navigating insurance processes to guiding patients through their treatment as a treatment coordinator, I’ve truly experienced firsthand every facet of an orthodontic office.

Through these diverse roles, I comfortably settled into the intricacies of the insurance aspect of the field. I genuinely enjoy navigating the ins and outs of the insurance world and find great satisfaction in the challenges that come with collections.
